i all, sorry about the noob question, how to update the firmware of my E71? And how do I find out whats the latest update?

Download and install the Nokia Software Updated from the Nokia website and follow the instructions.
i have successfully update the firmware, but after the phone restarted, it keeps stalling at installing message. How long does the installation will take??

The firmware update itself is done once the phone has restarted. Sounds like you've got something on your memory card that the phone is automatically trying to install, but can't, so I'd taje the memory card out and format it.
yes, that's possible, but now i have fixed it after resetting it to the factory setting and it loads 210.21.006 perfectly 😊
so for precaution, it's suggested to remove the memory card as well for next upgrade?

The best thing to do is to not install any programs on the memory card, just use the built in memory. Use the memory card for data storage only.
