hello everyone.

i recently got a n80 and for some reason it eats my credit without being used. if i go on the net, i only use free pages. i dont download anything. its odd really.

any help would be great.

also my battery life is roughly 2 days. i only really text on it. i dont use bluetooth or anything like that and i dont play games. is that normal life?

thanks for helping a new user to this site.:icon14:

😊 I suppose you are using a prepay-system (credits) ? Anyway surfing the Internet means Datatransfer : your device is downloading Packets of Data , free or bought data . This costs the Credits . I think it will be better to sign-up for a flatfree subscription at your TelCo . Or use as much as possible the WiFi connection of your Phone . Batterylife depends on use , condition , etc.

Yeah you have to watch out, even if you set your device to just use your WIFI, I have found it always defaults to GPRS data if it can and every time you download and email access the net, it will sting you in the `s department. I don`t have any data features on my sim so there is no way i can be charged.

as for battery life, 2 days is very good for a nokia N80, you will not get any more, these phones are power hungery, I have to always charge my phone every night, and it still runs out juring the day if used heavily....

Nice phone but rubbish talk time etc, it might be worth investing in a external mobile charger, so you can charge on the go.
