Hy guys, pls help !!! I own an N95 8Gb RM-320 firmware version 20.0.016 and i cant find a method to update to v30 ( i understand that is already released ). When i try updating whit Nokia Software Updater it finds the same firmware v20.0.016 ! 😮 Also in nokia site when i enter the product code is finding only the v20.0.016 firmware ! can anyone help me ??? Sorry for my bad english !!!

Hi 2thelimit,

If your handset is not-operator phone(Generic phone) [There are phones which are provided in some countries by service providers like Vodafone, AT&T, etc, even if firmware for generic phones are available globally for operators phones, they only will decide if the phone can be updated with latest firmware], So if your phone is generic phone, check for latest firmware updates in Nokia Software Updater....

From your post it seems yours is network enabled phone, so even if Generic/SIM Free phones has got other updates, your operator still didnot approved latest firmware for your phone, even if its available to globally to generic/sim free phones 😞

Thanx man your right ! I bought it from a friend ho has it from vodafone:frown::frown::frown:. Can i do something to get rid of vodafone? Now my phone is working in all networks but when i did the update to v20 or when i reinstall the software it comes with vodafone live preinstaled that meens your right !!! Can i do something??? Sorry for my bad english !!!
