E71 Music player

Dear forummers,
How can I get the album artwork to transfer when I copy a CD from my PC into my E71?? (They are genuine CD's)

It seems to be so complicated compare to Windows Media Audio player or my iPod which just copies the art work as I rip the CD?

It would be so convenient if I could just carry the E71 and not have to carry the iPod as well.

Any advice most welcome.

Kind regards.

After a lot of work I found a very compicated (and unsatisfactory) workaround.
1. Install Monkey Media on my PC.
2. Import CD's from Windows Media into Monkey Media.
3. Highlight the album name and Right click. Select "Auto Tag from web" to import the CD artwork and copy it to the artwork window of Media Monkey and apply it to the whole CD.

What a lot of messing about when the artwork is already there in the Windows Media Player library.

The present Nokia music player is Neanderthal. I hope Nokia can come up with a functional music player which will copy artwork from WMP and allow full screen display of the CD cover on the E71 screen.

A pity as everything else on this phone is great.

Hi Johnmak,

As far as i know latest Nokia pc suite 7.1.26.0 doesnot have this feature however, if the cd came along with your device has got old nokia pc suite, you can try this option using Nokia Music manager(latest pc suite has withdrawn this feature).... Else you can check with Nokia Music application, from NOKIA itself.

I had the same problem on my E90 - I had 2000 tracks and no artwork yet on my blackberry and WM6 devices it displayed.
I had a jpg called folder in each directory with the album cover on it.
I downloaded mp3tag (freeware) and used that to embed the folder.jpg into the mp3 tag. I did this with all my tracks automatically so no intervention and it worked perfectly. If you want further info on this, let me know.

hello.................all
Whenever I put music into my phone, It doesn't show up in the music player, nor does it show up when I open the 'tracks' folder. It used to work before, but now whenever I use pc suite to transfer my music, it doesn't show up anymore. I've also tried dragging my songs straight from itunes (ACC format) but still no luck showing up on the music player.

However, when I use the 'search' feature, my songs show up and I can select them and play them. But how can I get my music showing up in my music player, instead of having to search for my tracks all the time?
