Hello,
I love my n82's speakers and always keep it with me for music on the go. When hanging out with friends I sometimes wish I could play music on their iPod on my n82 b/c of its awesome sound capabilities. There is no way to set the 3.5mm headphone jack to be an input in the original software. Do you know if Symbian or the hardware has any limitations regarding which audio handling devices can be the source of an audio input stream? The microphone obviously is capable of producing an input stream in software running on the device, but could I use the 3.5mm headphone jack as well. I intend to write the software myself to send the input stream to output but am unsure of the possibility of such a feat. I talked to Nokia about it and they said the device isn't designed for it, but they didn't say it was designed to prevent it either. Seems like a pretty simply feat (in the scheme of the devices capabilities).
Any ideas?
Thanks
