Offline applications with Nokia 5800

Hi all,

I am trying to understand if the Nokia 5800 XM is the right mobile for me. Many thanks to Rafe Blandford for his November's review. After having read it, I still wonder if Internet applications support the case no wi-fi connection is available. For instance: is it possible to download the email messages to read/reply them later, even when no wi-fi LAN is in? Is it possible to see already-visited web pages when off the network? Can I use WebDAV calendars and have them updated when the phone goes back on line?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Marco.

E-mail can be set up in the messaging section, you receive emails just like you receive text messages, so you can read them while offline/away from wifi/3g.

If you use Opera Mini, you can save web pages for offline viewing.

Sorry, can't answer your WebDAV question, never heard of it or used it.

Thanks a lot for the reply

google.com / support/calendar/bin/answer.py?answer=99357[/url]

But I've discovered there is an iSync plug-in for the 5800, which should be simpler.

Thanks again.
