Nokia Messaging preview for S60 5th Edition

Nokia Messaging, Nokia's combined email service and client, main aim is to deliver an easy to set up and use consumer email solution for Nokia's devices. A preview release for S60 5th Edition (Nokia 5800) is now available via the Nokia Beta Labs site. The S60 5th Edition version is optimised for finger touch and includes, optionally, the 'push' element of the Nokia Messaging service.

Yet again Nokia's messaging App version here is a total disaster. I own several email accounts that are hosted in USA with companies such as www.pair.com. Unfortunately Nokia's email application cannot find this firm and as such makes it impossible to configure the application to read my mail.

This problem also exists with Nokia's PUSH email system - it's totally insane and shows a complete lack of maturity in software development. I'm still shocked at how stupid Nokia are here.

SEVEN however provide a far better solution that realises that you may need to add manual settings to establish an email account.

Frustrating.

even though i m connected to wi-fi, the nokia messaging still uses network provider to transfer data...strange....

i use the original nokia email client and it works well!!!
