shortcut to picture in main menu

I was wondering if there any way that i could create a shortcut to a picture... and make it as a main menu button. I mean, if you can create a shortcut for apps, you should be able to create a shortcut for pictures, right?

I just want a quick reference to my timetable, rather than accessing the file mgr. app. Any suggestions would be appreciated! 😊

Sorry to state the obvious, but could you not just set it as your wallpaper?

If you didn't want it there permanently you could allocate a profile and call it school or college or whatever your timetable is for. Then just set your timetable as the wallpaper on this profile and whatever else on your general profile.

Worth a try?

😊 I don't use the device myself , but according to Mafty X-Plore works fine on a 5800 . http://www.lonelycatgames.com/?app=xplore . Go in X-Plore to the Image > Menu (options) > Open in System . The Picture is diplayed , and keep it open . Then go back via menu to X-Plore . Now you can close X-Plore , but the Picture will be running in the background as long as you don't close it .
I don't know for 5800 , how to show background-operations , but on the E90 works by longpressing Menubutton > Then click Image . So only two clicks for displaying the specific Image .
😊 Regards jApi NL

mafty: That is a good suggestion! But yeah, the thing is, I check it before and after school as well, but yeah, it wasn't that obvious to me.

jApi NL: As for X-plore... it's not free, is it? I guess i'll look at other image viewer's, if its as easy as that. thank you for your suggestion! 😊

You can download a trial version of X-plore which just has a 3 second nag screen but is fully functional - that's the one i use....
