Has anyone else had the problem where the < > keys don't exist on the keyboard?
when I press the 1* key to get to the number pad I get the number keys however there isn't a <> key but there is a p and w key to the right of + and # key which seems like they don't belong there. Pressing the Shift or capital letters key reveals different symbols but again no < > key.
I'm a little annoyed that these keys seem to be missing. Any ideas on how to fix this or where they could be?
If you use the alphanumeric pad and press the * button, they come up as options. Bizarre they're not on the full keyboard innit?
FYI - the p and w keys are there for entering sim unlock codes into the handset - almost all codes start with +pw, which you use the * key to select.
Just thought you'd like to know....😊
The p and w are for dialing (pause/wait for dialtone), not specifically for unlock codes.

I stand corrected. You learn something new every day!😉

Bizarre doesn't begin to describe it.
But Annoying definitely ends it.
I hope they update the qwerty to include those keys. But thanks for the heads up on them being there on the alphanumeric pad. 😊
But since we're on the alphanumeric pad. Anyone know how to make the alpha characters appear on the alphanumeric pad when making a phone call?
I have to many telephone passwords that require me to see the alpha characters so I can enter my password lol.

you will never believe it, but the missing letters on the dial pad are a design oversight by nokia. they forgot the letters!!!! and they didnt even address it in the firmware update. god only knows how something that OBVIOUS could be left out. but it was.
Well hopefully enough people in places like this will complain enough to embarrass the company to update the phone to do it.
Or Else I'll have to learn how to code in symbian and update the dialer to include the letters. 🙄
