e71 startup and taskman?

how can i see what loads up at startup and what is running on my phone.
i find that battery drops fast because i got so much install'd on it.
Need like a process monitor. want to try this before i have to reset the phone.

Not sure how to check what loads at startup, but to see what is running at any point in time, hold down the home key.

Yes , it seems like URL's are stored in separation on the server at the moment ...
Anyway Y-Tools from DrJukka is a nice app to see how much occupied the C: D: E: disks + RAM are . And has some more festures .
With Y-Browser and X-Plore you can delete Cache content .
Be sure : always install on MemoryCard , to save Device Memory .

Can you install apps i.e. conversation/nimbuzz etc on the memory card? As long as the memory card is installed would it work?

😊 Yes ! When you download OTA - e.g. Over The Air , you will see a choice between Device or Memorycard . Always choose Card in order to save DeviceMemory . A tiny amount of Applications need DeviceMemory . This is done automatically .
Taking out Card from your phone is naturally disappearing the Apps , but Replacing the Card they are back again !
