E71 Bluetooth 602 headset review

Ive had this headset (BH-602) connected to my E1 7 for a month and thought Id share some insight having also considered the Jawbone and owned other Nokia / third party Bluetooth headsets.

Interested to know is any others have this and their thoughts on this set compared to the Jawbone which I very nearly bought instead. Only thing made me buy 602 was 15 mins charge time.

Battery life is great, 15 mins charge lasts all-day with 4-5 hours of calls.

Noise cancellation is also very good. In the car with window open it effectively cancels out the noise. At normal car noise level (ie; not windows open) its indistinguishable from the phone and cancels out background noise.

Auto volume: excellent.

Size, its way too large, taking up half the face. It can be worn without the ear-loop by pushing the soft rubbery earphone into the ear, it wont move and it sits pretty tight like this and its comfortable.

Flashing blue light to show Bluetooth connectivity is a bit 70s but it can be switched off.

The call quality both for recipients and listening is excellent and Ive been told even better than the phone itself due to noise cancellation performance.

Overall then, for the price (and for me) excellent value and flawless performance, the size is a fashion disaster, but I never wear outside office / car.
