Small bug encountered

Salve!

After playing awhile with the phone, esp. with the internet stuff,
I got a problem with the 'date', located below your service provider,
in closed flip mode. It doesn't display the date any longer! The only
thing I can see is 0525 0529. What a strange date!

Well, if I reboot the phone the problem is "fix" for about 5 seconds,
and then it starts to display 0525 0529 all over again.

I suggest a master reset would help, but I haven't any connection
to another device at the moment to backup the whole system.

Does anyone have the same problem? How to fix it?

Another question.
If I set the light always on, after quite awhile, the light dimms
somehow. So I haven't full lighting. Is this a normal behavior?
Well, it would be nice to adjust the lighting myself. But this seems
not possible for now. The problem with the dimming light is somewhat
troubling if you play chess. Once you do a move (touch the screen)
you have full lightning, but after about 5 seconds the light dimms
until you touch the screen (for the next move) once again.

Here is my P800 system information:
Phone: R1D
Bluetooth: R2C
Organiser: R1F01
CDA: R1F04

The date thing sounds a bit weird... could be a bug in that firmware version.

The screen dimming after 5 secs is normal, it's a battery saving feature. I could be wrong (someone please correct me if I am) but I think that the only setting is on/off/auto. Auto is what you have now, so on is your only alternative (but it will drain the hell out of the battery).

Hi, that doesnt sound like a date but it could be the Cell info display. It can display either the postcode or some area code for the cell region that you are located in at that time. It may change if you go out of that cell region into another cell region.
