Nokia N97, will AT&T subsidize the unit on contract plans?

I wish Nokia would bring the touch-screen Nokia N97 to AT&T, and I wish we could have it subsidized for 2-year new/upgrade plans.

With Ovi, I think this phone is a worthwhile contender to Apple's iPhone also on AT&T.

The Nokia N97 would be the perfect smartphone. I have the Nokia E71 and I'm lovin' it, specially the browser and the multi-task functionality. The only limitation to this device is its tiny screen and non-touchscreen interface which limits content viewing.

I wish AT&T would carry it, and offer it at discounted pricing as its rumored above-$600 price is too much to pay.

The iPhone currently sells at $99 refurb, $199 new for 8GB model. But I don't want to be in contract with AT&T unless its a really good phone.
