lock code now working, even after a factory reset

[of course that should say 'not' instead of 'now' 😊 ]

I turned off my lock code before upgrading to v21. However I can't seem to change the lock code now, and even the default 12345 doesn't work.

I still have access to my phone, because the code is turned off, but if I try to enter 12345 as the lock code when doing a factory reset it always says 'code error'.

I get the same thing when trying to change the lock code - it allows me to enter the old code, and enter the new ones, but then says code error, and eventually has a message saying 'incorrect code entered 5 times, code will unblock in 5 minutes."

Any ideas?

i dnt think theres any way to do it urself as 5800 dnt work with nemesis service suite, u cud try jaf on pc and dump the PM (perm memory) file, then open the PM with txt viewer and at string [308] ul find ur lock code

Hi Biggzy,

Thanks for your help. Can you tell me how to use JAF to dump the PM file?

I've tried 'Read PM' but that asks me for an address. Since I have no idea what I'm doing, I decided not to mess with it!

[EDIT]I've managed to read the PM, but can't really make sense of it.

if its saved ur pm to pc upload it for me, if not search/find [308] and copy n paste that line 4 me to see
