Voice Recorder problem

I had the same problem with 2 versions 3.62 and 4.13... I've spoke with Nokia support and they told me that is a bug and they haven't solved it yet....

What??Mine is v3.18...I have been told that the only way to record the normal or compressed mode is to save a file as the normal or compressed mode, and when you wanna record at normal mode, you can open that normal recorded file and go on recording; same as if recording at the compressed mode. Otherwise, you have to use the DictaPhone to record.

I cant get compressed mode to work, but how can i tell which version I have anyway, its a new phone (1 week) but i doubt its the latest software.

Hello. I say that the problem that has east man with the recorder of nokia 9210 I have had it I, counting, as story, with the version of Firmware 4.13.

Having before made a backup of all the archives (when still the recorder worked), one is to recover these archives of the backup in nokia 9210.

In filemanager, go to System\apps\Voicerecorder directory (in main memory not mmc).

Delete the Voicerecorder.ini file.

This should allow recording with compressed again. Occationally it switches back to normal, and you need to do the above again.

take this to files....open norm.wav and the recorder change to normal, take the kompri.wav for compressed!!!
