Take it to your local mobile shop, and ask for a quote to repair it.
It's unlikely you could fix it yourself, you would probably cause more damage.
Often water damaged phones will eventually recover but have a shorter life due to circuit corrosion. Numerous drying out theories but the latest is to take off the back (it just peels off with a little effort and place the phone in a bag of rice!
Rice has exceptional absorbation properties and is often used to keep salt dry in damp climates. Just leave it for a few days and try from time to time. It's possible that the battery is fried though to which there is no cure. If you can try the battery in another phone.

Hi there when you say 'take off the back' what do you mean take off the back of what?
I mean the rubbery plastic backing which was plum or sand coloured on the original N95s. Just put your fingermails between this and the keypad and ease outwards and backwards. No screws and it's easy to put on again. Google N95 disassembly and you're bound to find a video
Sorted, turns out it was the damn bettery, tried another battery and it worked fine.
Thanks all for your help 😉
Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me with my problem. I dropped the phone in a small puddle today and it landed face down. I dried it completely but the sound quality is way off. I can barely hear a thing when I attempt to make a phone call through the handset but when I put it on speakerphone it is clear.

Ok problem back, we bought a new battery and fitted it in but the actual thing will not charge? What now? When you insert the charger it does nothing at all not even the charging indicator comes on?
I only know that the phone does work as it put in a charged battery from another n95.
Sounds like you might need that rice after all. Must be wet circuits somewhere between the charging pin and the battery.
@bunchasmiles: you have dust/dirt behind that gauze. If a vaccum cleaner on full power doesn't shift it you're gonna have to take off the front panel. 4 torx screws 2 up and 2 down you can get at when you have the media keys open.
Cool so you think thats what the problem is then? Once i have the cases off what am i doing then? What do you mean about a vacuum?
When i plug the charger in and let it charge the battery does warm up, what does this mean?
If the battery warms up are you sure it's not charging? The vaccum thing was for the other guy.

No its definately not charging i left it for 4 hrs and it would not even turn on.
