Hello friends...
I am using NOKIA 3230 for the last about 3 yrs now... The phone was all fine untill November 2008 when I found that its not getting started... I took it to NOKIA CARE where my phone's software was flushed/updated... I found my phone working as before... Now again from the last 5/6 days my phone ws showing "START-UP FAILED.CONTACT THE RETAILER" message.. I manually formatted it by pressing *+green+3+power on.. It didn't work.... I took it to NOKIA CARE again which is about 170 kms from my hometown... There strangely I found the ph is working fine... As a result they did'nt have to do anything... But when I returned home I found the same damn problem... And adding to my surprise its showing this prob only for a particular sim... I am using BSNL and VODAFONE.. When I put BSNL sim it shows this prob but VODAFONE is working fine... My BSNL sim is also fine as it is running smoothly on another set that I own which is of LG... And strange enough when I took this same sim and same phone 170 kms away from where I stay these gel well.... 😮 :con?
Am really surprised with this strange behavior and cant make out wats going wrong !!
Any suggestions buddies !! Wat shld be done now? I need this NOKIA 3230 and BSNL to be compatible as I am expecting a very imp call lately and taht my LG handset is having antenna prob and not everybody who calls me get connected when I am using LG.... So I need to use this sim and NOKIA 3230...
