Hi, I recently bought a 5800 and I love it so far. A big plus is its multitasking capabilities and I have some tasks which run almost constantly in the background (nimbuzz, music player, etc).
A downside is that switching between running tasks is quite burdensome as it requires three clicks (click on options, click on show open apps, click on app icon) and four clicks from the home screen (the first on the white key to display the options button).
I would like to map the task manager to a hardware button, like the media softkey or the camera key, is that possible?
In the meantime I found a workaround which requires only two clicks in the most common cases. I personalised the applications menu having the apps I run most often on the main screen. So when I click on the white button this menu appears and the running apps have an overlaid dot. So I know if they are running and can switch to them.
There's no need to put the apps that are accessible from the media softkey there, as music player, web browser, etc.
Of course you cannot see all the running tasks there, but switching between the most used apps is faster.
