How to set up the Xpress Music Dashboard

Hello,
Just got a 5800XpressMusic phone.
I've seen in the phone demos that the desktop of the phone can have the contacts bar or the shortcuts bar.
Below that (on the demos) there are rows of icons with other functions like messaging etc.

How can i get my phone to do this? all i have is a single row of the Contacts or Shortcuts but cant see how to add any additional content.

I'd like to use the rest of the screen to put my own shortcuts etc.
went through all the menus and settings but cant get how to add other content onto the phone desktop.

I'm on ver 20.2.014

The default active standby screen on the 5800 only offers one row of shortcuts, either apps or contacts. If you want something more featured and customizable, I recomment Handy Shell from Epocware. There may be other 3rd party apps out there, I'm pretty new myself, but the stock 5800 won't let you do what you want.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I will look into the epocware.
I must say however that its rather dissapointing having to go the third party route in order to get such features.
I've also had alot of problems with the phone, ie the music library couldnt refresh, when it did it couldnt see all the songs etc
Prior to this i had a 2G iphone that i sold and bought the Xpress as i wait to get the 3G. i never had any issues with it.

The Xpress is an ok phone but it could be great.

I use Handy Shell and wouldn't be without it. I bought the package that included all their main products and I use them all very effectively. Sure, you have to pay but that is unfortunately true nowdays if you want excellent software.
