Hi,
Facing this problem:
Recently changed whole housing and chassis. After that slider mechanism doesn't seem to pick up position -
1. Screen doesn't rotate when in 'landscape' mode.
2. Key lock doesn't activate when slider is shut and vice-versa.
Stuck in ne slider mechanism (the whole bit with front camera and etc)
I suspect it's a harware issue but just in case is there a setting that controls activities in question?

Only settings to check are as follows:-
Slider-
Menu> Tools > Settings > General > Security > Phone & SIM card > Lock keys if slide closed.
Autorotate
Menu> Tools > Settings > General >Personalisation > Display > Rotate screen
Sounds like you forgot to transfer across the slim, flat magnet from the OEM central part of the casing to the non OEM part. Thismagnet is what the phone uses to identify when the slider is open, and closed.
