Lights remain on even when locked

Have you tried a hard reset?
Power off, then hold Red, Green and Camera buttons.
Keep holding them and power back on.
Keep holding them until you see the nokia handshake.

Be warned - this will delete your private data, so backup anything important first.

i tried hard resetting but this didnt resolve the issue. However i figured out what was causing the problem.

So:

1. Hard reset didnt fix it
2. Reinstalling Google Maps didnt make any difference.

I decided then to reflash the firmware (using 21) but this didnt work. So i hard reset the device then fomatted the SD card which didnt make any difference.

I thought at that point that it was a hardware problem but i decided to reflash and it fixed the problem!

I then reinstalled Google Maps (from the google maps for mobile site) and decided to install on phone memory and the problem came back!

So reflashed and it went away.

I tried installing google maps on the SD card and problem came back but reflash didnt resolve the problem. After formatting the SD card and reflashing it fixed the problem.

So its definatly seems to be with Google Maps. If i installed on SD i have to format the card, i suspect its something to do with some files which Google Maps installs.

Has anybody else experienced this problem?
