Hello - how come you lot have all got P800's and I keep getting told it's 'Coming Soon'?
I am in the UK, maybe it's already out in the US or somewhere?
Has anyone in the UK got one, and if so where did you get it?

the P800 is not officially released in the UK yet. Orange have the phone already though and have it on the market. If you want Orange as a provider than you should be able to get one through an Orange Direct shop.

I don't know the status in the UK, but here in Norway (just a really long swim away) the phone is highly available, and has been for some time now. Basically all dealers now have it in stock, and our distributors have plenty, so there's no problem getting one if you want.
Phones4U have some in the midlands (on orange), so they probably have stock everywhere. Tariff : �25 per month, �200 phone. Not bad !
The Orange store had 3, but wanted another �100 on this tariff.
EXPANSYS.COM will have more next tuesday and are very reliable (including delivery when they promise).

Expansys never actually had any UK spec phones to start with. They are lying on their website. Their Warehouse list on the day they said they had them never actually showed them being delivered.
Expansys will buy the UK spec phones from the same source as the Sony Eshop and Extele. Extele sound much more reliable as they are straight in their answers to questions about release dates.

Maybe the reason Expansys didn't show it in their warehouse live feed ( coz i noticed it too ) is because they didn't want everyone who'd pre-ordered one to think that they would get it in that batch. Thats what i assumed anyway... after all why would they lie about having it?
Dunno, but I wouldnt trust them. What we need is for someone to confirm they actually got one from Expansys and I haven't seen anyone on the forums who have.
Besides I dont see how they did get a shipment in stock because SE are not allowing distributors to release the phones to the stores yet. Extele.net confirmed that.

Yeah thats true... Well I've ordered mine from Expansys and they e-mailed me to say that it should be dispatched on tuesday. Plus they've compensated me for having to wait this long by giving me a free screen protector ( worth �23.99 i think ) and a car charger ( �14.99 i think ) which is handy! I think they're ok!
What's more I cancelled the P800 from Expansys last week
in disgust and went the Orange route ( cheaper anyway )
but kept my order open with a few accessories ( charger,
Duo etc ) and there still going to send me the extra car
charger and write-sheild!
Lovely people, and I'm enoying my P800.
