Nokia Device Update, Server profile

Im having trouble running Nokia Software Updater on Win 7 RC, so would like to try updating OTA, but I dont think the server profile/settings are setup correctly.

Here is what I have

Orange contract
Nokia 5800 (bought seperately from ebay)
Software version installed - v11.0.009
Software version date - 25-01-2009
Custom version - 11.0.008.325.01
Custom version date - 13-02-2009
Language set - 01
Model - 5800 XpressMusic
Type - RM-356

Server profile - Orange (says its not been configured)
Server Name - Orange
Server ID - orange
Server Password - (unknown, but something is already typed in there)
Access point - (my broadband connection, O2)
Host address - http://uk.orangeupdates.com
Port - 80
Username - orange
Password - (unknown, but something is already in there)
Allow configuration - Yes
Auto-accept all requests - Yes
Network authentication - Yes
Network user name - orange
Network password - (unknown, but something is already in there)

Try configuring the server profile by selecting - start configuration - says connecting, then (after about 3 minutes) it says server not responding.

Changed Access point to - Orange update (already setup/installed when I put my sim in), but I get the same error.

SO anyone have orange contract and can use the device update, server?

Can I simply get connected directly to nokia device update server (create new profile? what are the settings?)

Help please...

Common somebody must have this handset on Orange, even if you havent used the OTA, can you check it works? If it does, then please share your settings...

Anybody who can connect directly to Nokia server profile(if there is one?) share the server profile settings please?

Thanks

Righty...

Got an Orange UK 5800 and housemate has an unbranded one.

On his generic UK model, the server profiles is blank, yet it still connects to some built-in server and updates perfectly well.

On my Orange one, it is like yours. Orange are fucking lazy and haven't bothered to set up their update server yet. For any phones. And probably won't.

They've set some switch somewhere so that you require server settings to be entered, thus disabling the hidden Nokia defaults somewhere. The only way is with NSU, sorry dude.

OH!

Also thanks for posting this, as I just went to play around with NSU on a virtual machine and v21 for Orange is now out.

Awesome!

Nice I have it on Orange and was expecting this to be ages away cause it seemed to take forever to come out on NSU.

Is there any noticable difference on this update?
