I'm totally new here but this seems like a really nice place and I hope I will spend many hours here with you...
Now to my question: Is there a new HW revision of the 5800 on it's way, what will be the changes and should I wait for that to come out before I buy one?

If there are hardware revisions, they are quite invisible to a phone user.
If there is going to be an entirely new phone model with similar capabilities, then that's a totally different thing. When Nokia announced new models, there's usually a press release that's also issued at the time, and you can subscribe to them on http://www.nokia.com/press
So far, Nokia has not announced any new touch screen models besides the 5800 and N97.
I read somewhere that a new induction version display would be put in the future versions of the 5800... Any hold in that or just rumor? And what difference would it make? :-S

I think you are referring to rumors of a capacitive digitizer replacing the current resistive one. If they decide to do that, my guess would be that you wouldn't see it before the 5900 (which itself is a rumor).
You can wait forever. There is always something new just around the bend no matter when you buy. Buy, be happy, think how exciting your choices will be when it is time to upgrade. 😊
