Built-in web browser

I can't believe I haven't been able to find any posts about this but does anyone agree that the built-in web browser is absolutely pants? Sur eit's great that the optical mouse works on it but it doesn't work for any other 3rd party and much faster web browsers.

It takes several eternities to open most websites such as skysports.com and flashscores.co.uk which I use quite a lot.

I installed Opera mini and it loads up almost instantly like it does on your PC but when trying to view this through the built-in web browser I find I need to have another shave by the time the page has loaded FFS.

Are there any 3rd party web browsers that support the optical mouse or are there any settings that can be asjusted in 'unusably slow' built-in web browser?

Thanks 😊

The reason Opera Mini works so quickly is because it compresses the data before it gets sent to your phone. This process itself can take a while, and you can see the bar at the bottom of the page moving very slowly. If you want to speed up the built in web browser, turn off java. Neither are a patch on the iPhone browser unfortunately!
