Unlocking orange simlock (not debranding)

Finally got the unlock code from http://www.unlock-samsung.net, the instructions aren't exactly clear (no specific i8910 ones!). But if you use the ones for the i560, it'll work. The generic ones don't work though. I've messaged the site with this info and they may update. The whole process took from the evening of the 21st when I put in the order with my IMEI until 18:00 today (23rd). Cost was 21.99, which is probably a bit steep, but they did specifically mention the i8910 HD on the list of supported devices unlike other sites (even though the supplied instructions didn't).

While we don't allow advertising on this forum, I can confirm that the above site can indeed get unlock codes for the i8910.

To enter the code, turn the phone on with the existing Orange SIM card inserted. When the phone has booted, launch the phone application and enter:

#pw+<your code>+1# where <your code> is the unlock code you receive

To get the P and W letters, repeatedly press the * key

this is the most expensive price I've seen for unlocking this phone :O - since advertising is not allowed I won't post a link - but you can unlock it for about 13

If the site is not directly related to you, then I think we'll allow the posting of a link...
