HELP - How to retreive deleted contact

Hi, I deleted a contact by accident and need to get it back, is there an easy way to undo or retrieve without a back up? (stupid I know)

No easy or not even a hard way (any kind of a method to back up, copy or synchronize the data, when done before deleting it, are the only ways).

if you sent them a message check the sent folder or received a message from them check inbox/sent. If you have made a call / received check call log for un-named number.
