5 replies · 2,489 views · Started 02 March 2003

Hi all,

Is it possible for me to browse the web using my home broadband connection from my P800 with Opera and through a bluetooth connection to the gateway PC?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

But I posted this message because I wasn't able to find an answer to my question by reading through the forum so could you kindly give me the link to such thread who has the answer to my question?

Thanks in advance

It works just the same with Opera. Opera and the Reqwireless webviewer will recognize the BT/DSL connection before your GPRS/Dialup settings.

It even works with the built-in e-mail client, but for that you need to set up a new "dummy" internet account.

And it also works with the P800 built-in browser, but that's a bit trickier as the built-in browser will always search for your GPRS/Dialup account settings first. So you have to fool it to think that it is connected through GPRS. It works with a little tweaking...
