i wonder if there's a way to copy (backup) the contacts file that's stored on the P800 unit itself?
then is it possible to paste is back onto is's original place (restore)?
if so, could you please provide detailed instructions?

yea ... by the way ... how can i Backup my Contacts Image Tags while Sync ..... do you think that i have to save all pictures in a folder on the computer be4 deleting it ... cz i snap a pic ... tag it to a contact and delete the Original snap .... then sync to my address book ... then how can i save my image tags??

and why do my contacts take a lot of space?? but just after i personalized them, i mean i now have over 500KB contacts and i only 115 with a lot of data and a picture too!! but before that, it was only 115KB ?? 😮

That's why i asked my question!
i found out that Outlook DOES NOT sync the pictures, therefore you'll lose your pictures if you sync after a Master Reset or an Internal Format!
only a proper Backup for the PC Suite will get you back your pictures.

you can solve this problem Manually
you have to Back up each Contacts Person image in a Folder on ur PC ,,
when u Master Reset ... i think you have to TAG them with thair Pictures Again .... P800 was not well Managed by SE .... they did not had a live TEST for thier Device .... this is an important issue they have Forgoten ..
Something Else .... still dont know if Image and Voice Tag has it's Own Memory Limit ... the voice Tag took me Up to 40 Contacts ... others Said 40 - 50 ... how can that be ... is it Expandble ??
and i dont know if the Main backup Program Does it ... i have'nt tried it if it does backs up the Images in the Contacts ??
please .... any experts have any idea .... why does'nt any one would like to help around here ... This Topic Is Serios ... P800 manual does'nt show the limit of Voice Tags or Image Tags on it's Device ... even Support did'nt answer this Q
