SMS ASSISTANT FOR SERIES 60 V1.00

Frustrated because of not being able to answer your incoming calls or messages? SMS Assistant is the solution. SMS Assistant for Series 60 is an "out of office assistant" for Series 60-based smartphones. SMS Assistant sends your predefined message automatically to people calling you or sending messages to you. You can concentrate on your work or favourite hobby without having to think about people trying to reach you. Please uninstall any earlier SMS Assistant before installing this version.

Manage to install it and run. My comment for this piece of appl, it's a useful appl but seem like it can not detect the incoming call is from a mobile phone or a paid phone or office DID line. It will still sent sms which is stupid. How can a paid phone or office DID aka non mobile phone can get a sms reply????

Other than this issuse, i think this appl should improve on this matter.

1.04 is out HERE ( http://www.cs.tut.fi/~eerola/tuomas/symbian/SMAssist104Series60.sis ) but what's new ? Anyone can shed a little light on this ?

I e-mailed the programmer of SMS Assistant and below is the reply :

The key differences between 1.00 and 1.04
concentrate on minor details in the UI logic. Version 1.04 also
introduces a wider set of languages supported.

About making the application to respond to mobile numbers only... As
a rule of thumb, it is possible to search Contacts for the incoming
caller id and see wether it is a mobile number. However, there is no
other, really solid, method for identifying mobile subscribers from
the rest. Because of this, I have not paid too much attention to the
issue in SMS Assistant implementation.
