The exclusive first-party music game Dance Fabulous is out now on the N-Gage platform (we all know Nokia never sticks to launch dates, this is two days early!). To get the game, open your phone's N-Gage application, go to the Showroom tab, select "Options" and then "Update Now". The download file is 31 megabytes and the price should be around 5 euros, which is interestingly in line with the average pricing on Ovi Store.

nice game, well made! poor trial time, but worth the money! for sure!!!
hey tzer, they really put a lot of effort on this game, you should made a good review of it =D
man, this game is gooood =D

hi tzer i just noticed that when u go to download the game in the app it says that ngage supports operator billing. Can u confirm this? I think for now in my country operator billing is still not supported

Unregistered, N-Gage has supported network operator billing since it launched over a year ago. I've bought all my N-Gage games through my phone bill.

However, network operator billing isn't available in every country, some countries don't have it.

First party N-Gage games are almost always really good. 😊

I see the size of iphone games are more than 50 megabytes on an average. What is the size of ngage games?

just the size of a game doesnt make a game good. a game is just good if the gameplay is well too. not just about graphics. this game is 31 mb. but resident evil for example has just 2 mb and is a brilliant game.

First of all, I very much doubt that's an average file size, if it was then the download would be extremely slow for people who are outside 3.5G networks. Also a lot of iPhone owners nowadays don't have unlimited data, so they might find 50+ megabyte downloads rather expensive (the idea that 100% of iPhone owners have unlimited data is a myth).

But secondly, it is a rather moronic attitude if you think you can measure how good a game is by how large its file size is.

These are the same kind of idiots who think a longer film is better than a shorter film, a bigger car is better than a smaller car, or that a restaurant with larger portions must be better than one with smaller portions. They are ignoring quality and obsessing about quantity.

Apart from anything else, game file size usually doesn't tell you anything about the game code size at all: with large installation sizes, most of the file size isn't game code but non-gaming stuff like audio or video files. These kinds of files wouldn't add anything to the gameplay, all they do is provide some nice background noise or cutscenes.

Just to give an example, the N-Gage version of Prince Of Persia is a much larger file size than the Symbian version, but the game is almost identical to the Symbian version. Why? Because the N-Gage version has very large high quality audio files included in the installation file, which have zero effect on how much fun the game is to play. The actual game code is the same in both versions, so they play identically.
