Smaller period for Nokia PC Sync

The smallest period is 15min. Any way to set it even smaller ? Thanks.

PS: The period I'm referring to is the "Synchronise periodically when phone is connected"

No way to go below 15 minutes, AFAIK. Why you need that anyway? Are you THAT popular?

Popular ? Oh no.

I come from Win Mobile world and I use Activesync. In Activesync, the updates are sent to the phone immediately (almost). So I got use to it. Many times when I'm about to go for lunch, I remember that I need to buy something and I update my Tasks. It gets sync immediately without me having to click on the little icon to prompt it. Well, I may forget to click on the icon to get it sync over to my phone when using PC Suite.

I was thinking may be the 15 min value is stored somewhere in the registry and I can just go there and change it. Too bad then.

Was not intending to be cheeky, sorry if it came out that way.

If I were you I would change the mode to 'sync immediately every time PC Suite is connected' (or wording to that effect).
That way you could connect the phone a minute or so before you want to go for lunch.

But it would only charge the first time. Nope, but thanks.

What do you mean "charge"? If you mean battery charge, PC Suite Synchronisation would not have any effect on charging the battery.

I meant for you to disconnect the phone and reconnect it 1 minute before you want to go to lunch, to force an instant synchronisation.

I am still not sure why you need less than 15 minute re-sync, but it seems you can't do this anyhow.

Apologies. I type wrong... not charge... should be sync.
