i have nokia N95-1

i have my my data in it which i badly need. can somebody tell me how i can take back up of my data ( i have even stored all my bank account details in it"

pls guys help me out.

Please tell us that you did a Back-up via Nokia PC Suite, as instructed by the Nokia Software Updater. If so, you could try what has become known as the "Vulcan Death Grip".

Take the battery out for a few seconds and then replace. Now press and hold the following three keys:- "Green call key", "+" and "3". Whilst holding these down press the Power On button.

Hopefully this will reboot your phone and you can use Restore on the PC Suite to load your data again.

Easy way!
Press firmly the green key "the key you use to dial a call", the star key and the 3 key "key with figure 3 written on" together and turn on the phone. If any of these keys is not pressed firmly then it wont work. If it is difficult for you to start phone while keeping pressed these three keys then you must ask someone to turn on your phone.
Your phone will ask for PIN code, feed the code "Factory set code is 12345". This will format your phone and everything will be set to factory setting. You will loose all your contacts and third party software except those pre-installed in your memory card.

Did you ever use Menu > Tools > Utilities > Memory > Options > Back up phone memory?

This backs up the phone memory to your Memory Card.

Also, with Contacts, you can do the following:-

Contacts > Options > Mark/Unmark > Mark all > Options > Copy > Memory

I'm afraid that if the information you want was solely on the phone memory then it will be lost. :frown:
