I often have to switch from Russian to English while writing SMS or browsing the net or searching on the phone book ( because I have all contacts under latin characters but maybe last SMS I sent was in Russian ....so when I try to search for a contact I need first to go into messages, options, change language....very lenghty process).
Anyone know how to add (if one is not already buil in the phone) a shurtcut key to switch language??
Second one does anyone know of a product code frimware for Nokia E51 containing : Russian, Italian, Spanish, French and English?

Hi,
You need to press Shift (arrow up) and the "Symbol" button (Sym). This should take you directly to the "languages" menu where you can scroll through a list of languages available on your device.

Well, once again I found the answer to my own question. :redface:
The top of this forum has a great list of keyboard shortcuts and I finally went through the whole thing and made a list.
There are two ways to change the language:
1. Press the lower left key (the one with the square with the diagonal line through it) and the spacebar at the same time.
2. Press the shift button and the Ctrl button.
These should bring up the language selection.
