Not a bug - you are not holding the key lock button down long enough. When the phone goes into power save mode you have to slide the button and hold for about a second. When the phone is not in power save mode a split second flick works.
Apps Crashing? If you ignore the installation warning " this application is not compatible with this phone model"... you are on your own. 4 days and not a single crash or restart.
