Streaming video on the N95 8gb

Hi
I can't get any streaming video on my N95 over wifi using iPlayer or you tube or anywhere else on the net. iPlayer just sits there "buffering". Is this down to my router settings or my ISP do you think?
I just changed to talktalk but kept my existing router from my previous ISP with whom I used to get occasional success streaming video content. I didn't really try it that often it was just too jerky.
Now iPlayer is released for the 95 I thought I'd try it. I can't use it over a 3G connection as it warns me to use wifi so.. I need to fix this!
I've read a bit about port forwarding but don't really understand what it means. My router is a Linksys WAG54GS.
The phone settings for RealPlayer are set to no proxy too.

Any help gratefully received

Cheers

Chris

I just successfully used iPlayer at a friend's house on wifi so I know there is nothing wrong with my phone settings.

Any advice on router settings?

Cheers

Chris
