Hi, i got my n97 yesterday and copyed all my contacts for sim to phone and wen i get sms texts from any one it shows the number not there name? but if i receive a call it shows the name, dose any one know if i've done something wrong???

I had this problem mate and it's been bugging me for a couple of days!
When someone would ring you, the name would be displayed, but if they texted you it would just show their number - confusing hey?!
Wokerz you need to delete all your contacts off your SIM mate. That is what's causing the conflict. If you restore your contacts from a previous Nokia phone and you have contacts on your SIM as well, the two conflict causing issues like this.
Luckily I had a spare Sony Ericsson which allowed me to delete contacts off my SIM.

You have duplicate entries. This causes this problem on s60 phones. Clean up your phone book and it will fix the problem.
I agree, contact's conflict. I had exactly the same happen but all sorted after cleaning contacts up.
