Is anyone having a problem with Nokia Maps Updater?
The er, if I can recall correctly, Nokia USB OBEX driver install fails and I can never connect my phone in PC Suite mode. It just keeps coming up in "File Transfer Mode" and Im unable to sync with maps. PC Suite also doesn't like the connection.
Also why is the Nokia PC Suite, the so called "Latest Version" not actually the OVI Suite that comes on the CD with the N97 box? Is this more beta software?
goto http://betalabs.nokia.com and download the ovi suite v2.0 it has full support for maps 3.0
for PC only though 😊
Tried everything, and in PC Suite mode, Device Manager on Vista x64 shows the following devices (Code 10) Cannot be started:
Nokia N97 USB Generic
Nokia N97 USB LCIF
Nokia N97 USB OBEX
Nokia N97 USB OBEX
N97
Frustrated as hell.
Will try at work tomorrow.
Tried the USB port round the back. The back one is UHCI and not EHCI. Think that was the problem. Either my mobo needs better drivers, or the phone needs better drivers.
