Memory Full - Not a happy bunny

I've got caught with the "memory full" problem with my 7650 & have lost all my photos & data. I know I should have had a back-up.

This is a problem that seems to have been known about for a while. Has anything been done to get 7650 owners to get a software update. I live 5 miles from my local Nokia Service Centre & would have been happy to leave in in with them.

I have contacted mobileshop.com where I bought it, as yet they haven't contacted me. I've asked for a new phone (at least).

Any info/feedback??

You probably have firmware version 3.12 (type *#0000# to find out).

Your local NSC will upgrade the firmware for you (maybe a small fee involved) - the latest firmware versions do not allow you to "over-fill" the phone.

good luck

I have just come across this problem as well, after a batch of apps for testing 😉 , In my haste to install them I filled up my phones memory!! what a donut I am!, Now a trip to the NSC for me, has anyonehere used the one the Carphone Warehouse NSC in Cannon Street, London? what FW do they have? how quick where they? I cannot be without my phone for too long? i.e two hours!!!!
