Ok, this is going to sound geeky and boring to some of you :sleeping: but I'm positive that many of you use your 92x0 for more than just making phonecalls and playing games!
How about you share some of your spreadsheets and templates with the rest of us.
I use my 9210 to keep track of my fuel expenditure, general finances and a load of other stuff. I'm putting up here then some of these in case someone else is looking for a similar thing and, who knows, maybe someone could modify what I post and improve!
The first entry is a fuel tracker. I've not removed the personal data because a) I don't think anybody cares what mileage I do in my car and b) it helps illustrate how I use it (when I post the finance/expenditure sheet (looks much prettier), I'll remove all personal data 😉 ).
So, I hope someone finds a use for this;
This is possibly the first sheet I've ever done (and it shows), based on one I built on my Psion Series 5. There's a lot of manual intervention required here, but it is still pretty functional. ALl you have to remember to do is copy and paste each new row for the fuel calculations and change the series in the charts (adding 1 to the row value each time). It's dead easy!
Here's something to help you keep track of your spending.
It's only one sheet, but quite handy (and all the information in the screenshots is false).
This sheet is biased toward those who are paid monthly (in terms of EOM and so on).
Cool, I've not really gotten round to doing anything interesting and sensible with my 9210 yet, it all seems a bit of an effort though, although the fuel one looks good.
BTW just noticed your siggy mate, nice.
/me reaches for guitar, cranks up the gain and starts bouncing round the room. 😊
Yeah its about time I do start using my 9210i for something sensible, I use it for watchin videoclips/ web/ fax/ email- but mostly videoclips, what a stunning device! 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃
The ideea was to share something.
I do not have anything to share yet, but I appreciate the posting.
Needless to say, you can have the dictionary posted here http://allaboutsymbian.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=12651 in your communicator. I would be nice to be able to lock the first column and then get the one you need each time next to it, but for some reason it does not seem to work, or maybe I'm doing it wrong... It works on PC but not on 9210. And sure the scrolling down is a bit tedious, but hey, this is free. 😃
