Strange question this but on the battery cover does anyones have a little bit of movement near to the unluck slider. For me if a little bit of pressure is placed on the back cover there is some movement where the cover meets the back of the phone as though the plastic is rubbing on the plastic and on mine it squeeks a little bit. For instance if the phone is held in right hand and for instance the 4 key is pressed on the dial pad u can feel the battery cover move towards the phone as though it has not closed properly. Is this happening with anyone elses phone?

My white N97 NAM doesn't have any movement on the back cover as you describe, but I can feel the depression into the touchscreen. That is, the touchscreen flexes--but it does it all over the screen.
Phazlehurst, I suggest you take it back, just had a moan at a nokia store for them to give me a new one and the back panel is as solid as a rock. The phone should not have a back cover that moves in any way.
Just collected my second phone and now this one rattles and the vibra function when touching the screen makes a noise but the vibrate is not as definate as my older handset does anyone elses rattle??

daymit mine is the same i just thought it was a normal problem.. mine makes a slight creaking noise when i push it down against the battery..
