Are you a panorama sort of person and do you feel left in the lurch by Nokia buying up the makers of Panoman? Not worry, for Scalado and RAVITEQ have teamed up to produce Autorama, a quick way to produce auto-stitched panoramic photos with next to no Photoshop elbow grease required. Here's my review of Autorama, one of the new arrivals in the Ovi Store on your Nokia 5800 or N97.
Read on in the full article.
I got this yesterday after not being able to transfer my Panoman Licence from my N95 to N97 😞
Anyhow, not yet tested it, but hopefully will be putting it to the test either this weekend, or next week. I didn't realise it was limited to only three shots, this seems as big a let down as the greyed out options😞
Where to buy/download this app? Cannot find it.

Incorrect Steve. I have several 6, 7 and 8 image Panoman pictures. Take a full 360 panoramic in an open area (raised train platform, open common field, etc) with Panoman and see how many images it can actually take.
Really? oh, interesting. The version inside the N86 is fixed at 5!
In fairness (to me), I wanted to try Panoman standalone as well, but every legal (trial) copy around the internet seems to have been pulled after Nokia's acquisition ot bit-side 8-(
Anyway, my point is that, at 3 images only, Autorama needs to do better 8-)
I love it. Excellent app. Too bad you can stitch only three pictures though 😞.
Strange when I search for this app in the Ovi Store it lists it in the search results, but selecting it gives the message "Sorry, this item is no longer available.".......isn't Ovi Store just great! NOT!

Apologies if i keep peeing in your cornflakes Steve, but i just got home and looked through my old Panoman pictures. Perhaps i'm looking at the wrong thing, but the properties of some of my pictures show 5104 x 1350, 7856 x 1290, 7904 x 1260, 4912 x 1276, and several others above 1050.
An example of which is below (6480 x 1314):

Even the settings in Panoman have options for 1600 x1200, and 2048 x 1536.
A 360 i took earlier today (at least 8 images IIRC)

And one of my favourite 360's (Olympic Park). Again, around 8 images:

Yes, it does rather seem as is Nokia crippled Panoman slightly when they built it into the N86's Camera software. I'll amend the review text to make this clear!
Thanks.
... actually, they lead back to the same URL 😞
Where should they really go to?
Thx
Not available on Ovi Store for me either. This is getting old...
really, the review is only like a week old, and the app is no longer available. I hate having to pick up my N95 every time to use panoman when I just want a comparable app on my new N97. Common Nokia.
thoughts of where to pick it or like up, anyone?
thanks
While panoman is not available any longer with out looking... you can get a trial version from softonic.com of vs 30610.
Now, it's trial, so it's limited... 1600x and 2 shots... but, it's something to perhaps tied some over till something else comes available.
Since we can no longer find any of the mentioned apps in full version or at all, I'll either have to carry around my old N95 with the most recent version before they stopped pushing upgrades, or using the hampered trial I have.
no options work for the trial on the N97, and I have been unable to figure any hard key functions, so you're stuck pretty much to the settings they have and shoot.
Hope that helps some one.
----update----
I just realized, while you can take photos with the trial version, since the touch screen does not work, you can't save them. ugh!
back to square one, unless someone can figure that out.
@Micky or @Slitchfield, neither of you have a copy we can test/use do you?
hi, I just got an N97, great little phone...aside from the freezing now and then, but I've been searching everywhere for an app that lets you make panoramic shots. The trail sort of ended with this forum lol. Have you had any luck finding anything that is N97 compatible?
