Hope I'm posting this in the right place.
Is it possible to synchronize my facebook events and friend's birthdays (which i'll call fb collectively from here on lol) with my Nokia N95 8GB? Is there a way of doing this for free?
No need to read the rest of this post really; just explaining what I've tried already.
The only option I've found is to sync facebook to google calendar and then google calendar (gcal) with my phone.
Therefore, I'm now syncing gcal and fb with fbcal and gcal and my handset via syncML with GooSync (GS).
Unfortunately, I'm quite certain I can only configure fb as additional calendars in gcal, so GS wants to charge me �19.95 annum / �39.95 for a lifetime membership to do this.
I looked elsewhere, and found ScheduleWorld; turns out that's not free neither; similiarly priced to GS, and which some website told me was free, but is not. I then tried GCalSync, which only syncs the main calendar, not the extra ones from fb.
Is there a way of doing this for free? I don't care whether I'm going via gcal - I'm only doing that 'cos it's the only route I could find.
