Anyone any ideas how I might press tab (or any other 'special keys', ctrl+X etc.) from putty on the n97?
If I don't run in full screen mode, there's a 'send' button and I can use that, but I'd really rather run in full screen mode. Additionally, when in full screen mode, due to the lack of soft keys, there's no way to get out of it - or is there?
Thanks!

Are you sure you're talking about putty, and not the web browser? 😊
I get no on-screen stuff when in full screen mode in putty, and pressing the screen does nothing.
Thanks!
I believe the default is that swiping left or right will bring up some hot keys for Tab, Pipe etc. You should be able to customise this in the settings somewhere.
Unfortunately swiping seems to do nothing, and there's no options anywhere about setting up this feature as far as I can see.
But what I have just found is this:

perhaps that's what I need!
Ah, yes! Sorry I assumed you were using the touch version.
I'm using the version you linked to and have had no problems so far with it.
