At last, at long last, the popular Twitter client Gravity has gained large fonts, for use by those like me who (ahem) have less than 20:20 vision in our advancing years. You'll need to go online in Gravity, move to the start page and click on the 'alpha' (and 'experimental'😉 version 1.20 build 5570, but don't worry, it works just fine. You also gain, as shown below, the ability to have a different (e.g. a white) theme/backdrop, again greatly aiding visibility. v1.20 works fine on all S60 3rd Edition and 5th Edition phones.

Hello!!
is there facebook account support in this version??? i have the Version 1.20 5520, and i keep it cause there is facebook and twitter support, but not with other versions, dont understand why!??
Does Gravity properly auto-disconnect yet? I've found it likes to hold 3G connections open for a looooooong time. (unlike twittix)

That version you have is cracked. If you have paid for the app you can always ask @janole to add you to Facebook beta group, he will be happy to do it.
The white theme has been there since version one btw. I use it so I can read better outdoors even tough I personally prefer the black one.
i've just bought gravity app!!
do you know how i can contact him in order to add me in facebook beta support???
@dextro: Eh? The white theme wasn't in the mainstream 1.17 that has been out for ages! I'm pretty sure - I went looking for it enough times in the settings! 8-)
I've not had one problem with gravity holding a 3g connection too long. i use it about 100 times a day and each time it disconnects when its supposed to, like clockwork.
Sorry Steve but you're wrong.I just downloaded 1.17.5180 from the website and there are two themes.Just go to options->view->change theme and that's it.And one more thing, I just watched again the video previews of Gravity from Ricky and Rita from way back in February and their theme was white as default with no option to change it.
Gravity is great, but I'm annoyed that you have to buy a new copy everytime you upgrade your handset.
JohnnyN: you don't need to re-purchase Gravity! Just contact info @ mobileways.de to transfer your license to a new phone. I'm usually replying within hours.
Cheers
Ole

OK, it's quite possible that I was wrong here - but I did honestly not find the option. My guess is that I had a different v1.17 build installed. Anyway, I'm on 1.20 alpha now and it's actually very stable 8-)

When you mail your new IMEI to Janole, he will transfer your old licens.
Gravity is not "great, but..", but it is just "great".. 😊
I've been using Gravity a while now and it looks great on my new i8910 (thanks Ole for quickly transferring my licence :icon14😊
I'm still not using it full time as I also have a Blackberry Bold (for work) and it's client, Ubertwitter, has a few more options I'd like to see finally come to Gravity (apologies if any are already present, perhaps I haven't seen them yet):
1. Options when composing to add images(on phone or new via camera)/short-urls
2. Option to send location from GPS
3. The sound option list doesn't switch until I save, but that might be related to the fact that on my i8910 it doesn't play the sounds either
4. Tone sound options only seems to show me the system sounds and not all the other files I have stored on my phone, so I have to use a lame system one :frown:
5. Still isn't dropping the network connection (3G/Edge) after it's finished, I have to manually disconnect/reconnect or face a drained battery - this was the same on my old N95 and I'm currently running latest 1.20 build
6. Would like to see better use of screen space/touch - when in an account, remove the left/right and replace with swiping. If the [New] could be replaced as well somehow
Still, it's a class twitter client which looks really great.
BTW is there a reason why the clients aren't able to allow you to "block" followers? Ubertwitter is the same. It's annoying that I have to use the website.
i have recently just purchased version 1.19 build 5398 of Gravity for my N97. it all seems to be in perfect working order apart from uploading pictures. whenever i try to post to twitpic, it scales the picture, then the 'twitpicking' progress bar starts up and then it says 'posting failed!?'
occasionally it goes through this process but with an error message with a four digit number (which i can't remember right at the moment)
i'm doing this when i have a full 3.5G signal. any ideas?

problem solved. i emailed mobileways and they sorted out the problem for me. should anybody else come across this thread having had the same problem, the email i received back from them was this:
'can you please go to the Image Section, then click on "Options ->
Settings" and set "Use Proxy for GPRS/UMTS" to "Yes".'
it worked a treat. good luck. and if you have any other problems, email their support guy, Jan at
This is the great thing with Gravity. The support you get, not to mention the frequent updates too.!
