Well - I got back from the first Ericsson Mobilityworld Nordic + Baltics conference - and that was a rewarding visit.

I was able to air the many problems we have with p800 + p800 development - and it really sounds like they are working on making it better.

Software/P800
Well - they are working on a better P800 sync software that does not eat so many resources, are more compatible and have better bluetooth integration.

software development
Here again - they are confident that the SDK will be updated and some "porting" and "getting started" guides for UIQ development will be released. I've tried to tell them that huge underground of software developers that make palm applications - are usually "sparetime" developers - and they dont want to spend $500 for support + $400 for a development package for the UIQ.

So if P800 needs lots of software - they need to lower the requirements. They seemed to get the idea - but unfortunatly there are a big "gap" between Ericsson and SonyEricsson - and SonyEricsson got their own ideas. I teased them a bit about the CodeToCash competition, and lack of winners announced - 😉 they did not like that....

But they managed to pull some money out of me - for their partner program *G* I have the faith back *G*

best
