At the beginning, hello all!
I've spend hours on reading if there is a new software for my n97 but now i found i needed to change the software. I also read that it voids the warranty. And i thought if is there a way to change the software without using NSU?
I just wanted to see if it is possible. Maybe using JAF it could be possible.
Thank you.
JAF is the preferred method for changing codes on s60 v5.0 phones.
it is relatively simple to use. I leave it to others to point out where to obtain it.
Actually.. the latest version of NSS (Nemesis Software Suite) is a lot easier to use - no need for the JAF emulator (trojan) installs etc.. as long as you have PC Suite installed too

What i did was, i lost my facebook app(uninstalled because it didnt work) and i couldnt find one to install, so I changed my product code by NSS and updated it by NSU but still, it didn't come back. So I used that little app to get software files for my n97 and used Phoenix to flash it. But nokia knows i changed my product code. I could have done it without using NSU. What a shame :frown:
