I have version 3.16,the nokia here has aquired version 4.49(or something like that) .the upgrade costs around 10 euros.is it worth it?
will I see any good benefits?

Ask yourselves... do you need to patch? Does your phone giving you problem?

If no.... don't patch. Only patch if there's a bug in the phone. Same goes to computer OS.

I'm still using the 3.12 and i see no point to patch where my phone don't give me problem. Hope that answer your question.

if it ain't broke, don't fix it...

I'm on 3.16, the only thing I am missing is a MMC, something new f/w will not sort out for me 😃

hey people!

I *really* think that upgrading to a 04.xx revision is a *MUST* for every "heavy user", one who keeps installing, uninstalling, making photos, videos, etc.

this is because 03.12 handsets can be easily "broken" by the "memory full" bug... and it's really nasty! :x

also, v04.xx (or, at least v04.39, the one I got) is sensibly more QUICK than 03.xx (or, at least v03.12, the one I had before)

so, I'd not say "if aint broke don't repair"... I'd rather say: "it IS broke, so repair" ^_^

I would definately recommend upgrading from 3.xx to 4.xx !!
1. Speed improvement of the system.
2. System stability.
3. GPRS stability.
3. Oplogo problems in 3.xx.
4. New color palettes 😃

By the way. What's the available version in Singapore? Still on 3.16?
