Unlocking a T-mobile Nokia 5800XM

I have a nokia 5800 XM from t-mobile UK. Its currently at firmware V.10

I need to unlock it to use it on any network.

Will the following steps be good enough:

1. Change product code to generic code of APAC region using NSU
2. Update the firmware using NSU to V.20

Will the above steps debrand AND unlock the phone?

NO m8, de-branding and unlocking are totally different. (By the way de-branding totally invalidates your warranty!)

You need to buy the unlocking code directly from T-Mobile, or take your handset to a back-street phone shop and pay them to unlock it for you.

The above mentioned site do not provide unlocking information about 5800 - it is not in the list at the current date.
