Yet another question regarding debranding

Having read an article around here, I have just upgraded the version of NSS I have to 1.0.38.15 - which is still marked on the web site as being in beta.

Now, when I used the earlier version I had (1.0.38.12) to debrand my N95 the wisdom was to take a backup with your current product code before changing it, just in case you needed to send it back. I never did this as I did the debranding on the day I got it and before I had installed any data on the phone at all.

This time round, I have 2 weeks worth of data on the N97. I have several backups of the phone taken with the code set as it is (Vodafone UK) so I now have two questions.

1. Is this the correct procedure?

- Take another backup of the phone with the current product code? (If I think I need to).

- Use NSS to change the product code.

- Take a backup of the phone with the new product code.

- Now install the new V11 UK firmware

- Restore from the backup I took with the new product code

2. If someone would please state again the product code I need for a black vanilla UK version. I don't want to use Euro1 as it seems that is most likely to brick your phone.

Many thanks.

Neil
